We drove the scenic route (old Pacific Hwy) from Sydney to Woy Woy today. This picturesque road winds its way through the forest, the mature trees peer down from great heights watching you enjoy the road equally on the ascent as the descent. Their arms cling tight like sleeping otters, their shadows dart on and off the windscreen on our, what seems to be, rather oversized vehicle. That's because the twists and turns make this road very popular with the leather clad bikers, as well as the non motorised two wheel lycra clans, who all somehow get along because of their shared love of balance.

We fought through on our four wheels and made it here: Woy Woy Fishermen's Wharf. Best fish 'n chips we've had in a very long time. And $5 beers make digestion twice as easy. But you get that at any fishermen's wharf? I hear you saying, and you're right. What the good folks at Woy Woy have done to their "Fisho's" though, was far beyond anything we were expecting.

Perfect day trip from Sydney, or lunch stop on the way to Blueys. Oh, and the food was so delicious, we forgot to take any pics before we dug in! Next time.
